MAKE YOUR OWN PROTEIN POWDER!

That's right - you can save money and make your OWN protein powder for smoothies and shakes.  This plant based protein powder recipe can be supplemented with ItWorks! greens for alkalinity and to replace 8 servings of fruits + vegetables (!).  Make a big batch at once then store extras in the freezer.  Here's how you make it:

¾ cup each) of the following:
- Steel Cut Oats

- Lentils
- American Basmati Rice

Optional to add:
- Pea
- Hemp Seed
- Flax Seed
- Mung Bean

- Grind to powder in a blender, Magic Bullet or Coffee Grinder.
- add 5 tablespoons protein powder to Almond or Coconut milk  

- Add 2 scoops of ItWorks! Greens
- 1-2 capfuls of Aloe Vera Juice
- 1-2 Tablespoons of Flax Seed oil
(If you have Flax seed in your protein powder mixture omit this step)


Add fruit, ice, or honey to the mixture if you'd like a little flavor and kick.  Blend til smooth, enjoy!
